It is time to finish out 2022 with a Chardonnay from a producer known as Clay Shannon, who is the founder of the Shannon Family Wines. Paired beautiful with a fig-vegan butter chicken, mashed potatoes with sauteed kale on the side. This wine has just hit our shelves at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits and is at an unbeatable price of $11.99. I normally tend to lean towards Chardonnay from France, but I thought that this California Chardonnay hit every level and is one to seek out that isn't overly extracted in the butter or oak.
